Valentine's Day truffle pouch

Valentine's Day truffle pouch

Wow,  just typing the words Valentine's Day truffle pouch made me want to go finish the bag of truffles left over from making this project this past weekend at my card class!! This cute idea has been around forever but it didn't catch my eye until it appeared in Stampin' Success, a free magazine Stampin' Up Demonstrators receive every month. The magazine is packed with fun crafting ideas like this along with card and scrap book ideas. This project only takes a 5 1/2 by 4/14 inch of designer series paper "Twitterpated", some sticky strip tape, and a crimper to make the actual pouch. Then, I embellished the treat holder with a single heart punched with the Full Heart Punch in cherry cobbler card stock. I stamped "For You" over top of a floral image both from the Elements of Style stamp set.  The "For You" was then punched out with a 1 inch circle punch. I added white satin ribbon and white Baker's twine to complete the project. I can't wait to give these little goodies out. I find it's nice to have them on hand for brightening up loved ones/Friends/ helpful people's days! Please send me a message if you'd like to find out how you can receive Stampin' Success monthly magazine for Free.
